Privacy Policy

FounderZodiac (“FounderZodiac,” “we,” “us”) provides astrology-based readings and timing guidance for entertainment and self-reflection — not financial, legal, or professional advice. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

You give us most of this directly:

• Account details — your name and email address.
• Birth details — birth date, and optionally birth time and birth city, used to compute your chart.
• Gender — collected only on the Compare Charts form, for the person you’re comparing with, so the AI reading uses accurate pronouns.
• Chat messages — anything you send to Ask Your Chart, and the responses it gives you.
• Payment — subscriptions are billed by Whop, our payment processor. We never see or store your card details — Whop handles that directly and gives us only your subscription status.

Some information is collected automatically:

• Basic usage/funnel events (e.g. which step of onboarding you reached), a randomly generated session identifier, and UTM parameters from the link you arrived on, so we can tell which marketing efforts actually work.

• To compute your chart and generate your readings.
• To power Ask Your Chart, grounded in your specific chart.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send you the daily briefing email, if you’re subscribed (you can stop this at any time by canceling your subscription).
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
• To understand and improve the product.

Your birth details, computed chart facts, and chat messages are sent to OpenAI to generate your readings and chat responses. If OpenAI isn’t available, we fall back to a deterministic, non-AI reading generator instead of failing silently. We don’t sell this data or use it to train our own models.

We use a small number of service providers to run FounderZodiac, each only for the purpose below — we don’t sell your data to anyone, and we don’t use third-party advertising trackers.

• OpenAI — generates your readings and chat responses.
• Supabase — hosts our database and handles sign-in (magic-link email authentication).
• Whop — processes payments and manages subscription billing.
• Resend — delivers the daily briefing email.
• Google Places — powers the birth-city autocomplete field; only the text you type into that field is sent to Google as you type it.

Compare Charts lets you enter a second person’s birth details (a cofounder, hire, advisor, or partner) to generate a compatibility reading. Only enter another person’s details if you have their knowledge and consent to do so — that data is used solely to generate your compatibility reading and is stored alongside your own account, tied to you, not them.

We use a functional session cookie (via Supabase Auth) to keep you signed in, and browser local/session storage to remember your reading between page loads and to generate the anonymous session identifier used for funnel analytics. We don’t use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service (for example, to keep your subscription and billing history consistent). If you delete your account, your birth details, readings, and chat history are permanently removed — see “Your rights” below.

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (birth details, readings, comparisons, and chat history) at any time from your Profile page, under “Danger zone.” Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription — cancel via “Manage subscription” first if you don’t want to keep being billed. FounderZodiac is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information (encrypted connections, access-controlled infrastructure). No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Our service providers may process and store data in countries other than your own. By using FounderZodiac, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in those countries.

We may update this policy as the product changes. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do; material changes will be communicated more prominently.
